Whenever you are in pursuit of a dream, you must learn to drown out the noise. Do not put man’s accolades and approval before God’s approval. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33 KJV). You cannot concern yourself with the approval of man. Man is fickled at times. To be on the receiving end of this rollercoaster ride, can sometimes be an extremely painful process. One minute they are all for you and then the next minute they are against you for no apparent reason. One cannot allow naysayers to get you off course. The pursuit of your dreams requires faith. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1 KJV). The attainment of your personal goals is most definitely a Faith Walk. Remember that you are made in the image of God…”Let us make man in our image.” (Genesis 1:26 KJV) and you are capable of doing and being anything that God called you to do and be. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13 KJV). I have had to learn that pursuing God Given Dreams will cost you some friends. It is a lonely path. “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.” (Matthew 7:13 KJV). You must do the things others won’t to get the things
others don’t!
